Keith Kenneth McAfee

  General Notes:

Keith Kenneth McAfee, age 72 of Springboro, OH, passed away February 17, 2009 after a short illness at Hillspring Nursing Home. He was born June 18, 1936 in Clarksburg, Harrison County, WV the son of W. Kenneth and Alma (Dragoo) McAfee. He graduated from Smithfield High School (1953), West Virginia University (1957), and Indiana University (1959) and then served in the US Army. Keith was retired from Orman's Welding after also working for Eco-Water (Water Refining) and Central Soya corporations as an administrative manager.

His parents and his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Waters, precede him in death.

Keith is survived by his children Christopher K. McAfee (Michael-Ann) of Utah, Kelly C. Richards of Utah, and Robert K. McAfee of Nebraska; a brother William B. McAfee (Jeanette) of Michigan. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Jerich, Colin, and Tristan McAfee; Dartanian, Dean, Carter, and Camden Richards; two nieces, Jennifer Patrick (Todd) and Joanna McAfee, and special friend, Joan Ganger.

Funeral service will be Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 11:00 am at First United Methodist (60 E North St, Springboro, OH). Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-8 at Anderson Funeral Home (40 North Main Street, Springboro, OH). A graveside service will be Monday, February 23, 2009 at 1:30 pm at Marshville Baptist Cemetery in Marshville, WV. Www.anderson-fh.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church or American Diabetes Association.

Keith married Patricia Louise Cramer/Creamer, daughter of Frederic Lemoine Cramer/Creamer and Virginia Dean, on 27 Feb 1965 in Waldo, Marion Co., Ohio. (Patricia Louise Cramer/Creamer was born on 29 Nov 1941 in Marion Co., Ohio and died on 13 Mar 1997 in Davenport, Polk Co., Florida.)
