From Our Town, Narberth, PA (February 6, 1926) ALBERT GOLZE Old Narberth Resident Dies Suddenly in Philadelphia. Albert Golze, of 104 Maple Avenue, died at the Jefferson Hospital Tuesday night after a very brief illness. He collapsed on the street and died without regaining consciousness. Mr. Golze was a member of the firm of Little & Golze, merchant tailors, of 42 South Nineteenth Street, Philadelphia, and Princeton, N. J. He was the son of the late Gustavus Golze, a tailor on Arch street, Philadelphia. He had been a resident of Narberth nearly 20 years and well known in the borough. Interested in trees and gardens, he was, at the time of his death, a member of the Borough Shade Tree Commission, on which body he had served since its formation. He was a thirty-second degree Mason and an active Shriner. He attended the Narberth Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Laura Root Golze; two brothers, Rudolph Golze, of Washington, D. C, solicitor to the Controller General of the United States, and Leon Golze, of Philadelphia; three sisters, the Misses Emily and Matilda Golze, and Mrs. Charles M. Fletcher, all of Philadelphia. Funeral services will be held today from parlors at 1820 Chestnut street, Philadelphia.
