(22), Abigail (16 - NH), Hattia (13 - NH), Stephen (8 - Ill), and Mina (2 - NH). Ephraim is a farmer with real estate valued at $2,000 and a personal estate at $1,000.

The 1860 Federal Census for Momence. Kankakee Co., Illinois records Ephraim Wheeler (32 - NH) with his wife, Lucrecia (26 - NH) and children Abby L. (6 - NH) and Hetta (3 - NH). Next door is Daivd (27 - NH) and Maria (25 - NH) Wheeler.

The 1850 Federal Census for Troy, Cheshire Co., New Hampshire, page 169A records Ephraim (24 - Mass) and Loisa (24 - NH) Wheeler with their son George E. Wheeler (2 - NH). Nearby is David Wheeler (18 - NH) living with his parents Stephen (63 - Mass) and Polly (62) Wheeler. The above 1850 and 1860 documents indicate that David and Ephrain are brothers and that Stehpen and Polly are their parents.
