bullet  Marriage Notes:

From an email dated 5/30/2013:
Noticed on your site that for Richard Hunter Pope you have his wife in 1920 VA census as Lou W. [from a census record] His wife in 1920 was Zoe Mabel Wilcox. They were married in Corry, PA at the home of her father Maj. Clyde Daniel Wilcox, July 10, 1915. They had four children. She died June 20, 1926 and is buried in Pine Grove Cemetery in Corry, PA.
His 2nd wife was Annie Laurie whom he married July 6, 1927. She is buried in Elmwood Cemetery in N.C. The Popes are not my relatives. Yours?
Zoe Mabel Wilcox's father Clyde, and my grandfather Frank were brothers. My sister and I researched for over 15 years and found much information on the families. If you want any additional information on the Popes, such as name of children and spouses, please let me know.
