The 1920 Federal Census for Norfolk City, Monroe Ward, Norfolk Co., Virginia, District 124, page 267B, dated January 5, 1920 records the widow Ella Mae Toler (44 - VA/Ireland/VA) and her daughters Lethia Mae Toler (16 - PA/NC/PA) and Bertha E. Toler (7 - VA/NC/VA) living at 4005 Colonial Avenue.

Ella married Isiah C. Toler circa 1899. (Isiah C. Toler was born circa 1875 in North Carolina and died circa 1915 in Norfolk City, VA.)
