Biography
Mozelle J. Maddox, age 91, of Valparaiso [Florida] passed away July 17, 2007. She was born in Pike County, Alabama to Charlie and Mary Grimmer Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie Oscar Jones and Mary Vernon Grimmer, and her siblings, Charles Nelson Jones and Mary Beuford Wages.
Survivors include her son James Kyle Maddox and wife Sandra of Tallahassee; daughters Alice Jeanette Howell and husband Kenneth of Valparaiso, Eleanor Annette Mathews and husband Jerry of DeFuniak Springs; sisters Catherine Clonez Wilson of Andalusia, Alabama, and Alice Jones Baker and husband John Q of Crestview. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home. A funeral Service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2007 at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Murray officiating. Interment will follow in Heritage Gardens Cemetery.
