The 1850 Federal Census for Wyoming Co., West Virginia, page 217A, dated August 29, 1850 records Franklin (33 - NC) and Mary (27 - VA) with their children Louisa (10 - NC), Miles (8 - VA), Wyley (4 - VA), Mira (3 - VA), and Jane (8/12 - VA). Franklin is a farmer with real estate valued at $200. Also in the household is Mary Ann Workman (5 - VA). Next door is George J. Sizemore (53 - NC) with his wife Jane (53 - NC) and their sons Joseph Sizemore (30 - NC), Soloman Sizemore (30 - NC), Marion Sizemore (14 - NC), and daughter Jane Sizemore (10 - VA). On the otherside of Franklin is Joseph Workman (70 - PA), Elizabeth Workman (57 - VA), and Floyd Workman (12 - VA). O., page 601A, dated September 17, 1870 records Franklin (44 - VA) and Mary (42 - VA) with their children Elmira (22 - VA), Catherine (17 - VA), Elizabeth (13 - VA), Hariet (9), and Margaret (7 - VA). Halsy (21 - NC/NC/VA) who were married Nov 16, 1879.

The 1900 Federal Census for Slab Fork, Wyoming Co., West Virginia, District 144, page 289B, dated June 14, 1900 records Mary Sizemore (Oct 1820 - WV/WV/WV) living with her daughter Mariah Miller (May 1850 - WV) and her husband William Miller (Feb 1855 - NC/NC/NC) and their children Susan C. (Feb 1882), Cray (March 1883), Clara V. (June 1889), and Boyd J. (July 1891). Wm and Mariah were married on May 26, 1871 and according to the WV marriage record he was 16 and she was 21. Wm was born in Ash Co., NC to Jacob & Rhoda Miller.
