Zeidlear (May 1862 - PA/PA/PA) and her husband, John Zeidlear (Aug 1851 - PA/PA/PA) and children Earl D. Zeidlear (June 1898) and Merian Zeidlear (Nov 1899) living at 417 S 11th Street. Also in the household are step children John S. Hill (Jan 1883), Bessie Hill (Aug 1885), Thomas W. Hill (Dec 1887), Paul Hill (Sept 1893), and Harrison Hill (July 1896). John & Ida have been married for 12 years and Ida has had 12 children of whom 7 are still living. John is a Brass Molder. Note: Zeidlear had been indexed as Jeidlear.

The 1910 Census for Reading, Ward 10, Berks Co., Pennsylvania, District 77, page 147B, dated April 22, 1910 records Amanda Horan (70 - PA/French/PA) living with her daughter Ida I. Zeidlear (47 - PA/Wales/English) and her husband, John A. Zeidlear (50 - PA/Unk/Unk) and children Earl D. Zeidlear (11) and Eva G. Zeidlear (10) living at 1040 Cotton Street. Also in the household are step children Thomas Hill (20), Paul Hill (16), and Harrison H. Hill (13). The number of years for their present marriage is: John & Ida - 12 years; Amanda -30 years. Ida has had 13 children of whom 5 are still living while Amanda has had 5 children of whom 3 are still living. John has been married once, Ida twice [Hill & Zeidlear], and Amanda 3 times [Davis, Dougherty, & Horan].

The 1920 Census for Reading, Ward 8, Berks Co., Pennsylvania, District 77, page 93A, dated January 7, 1920 records the widow Ida Zeidlear (56 - PA/Wales/England) with sons Paul Hill (26 - PA), Harry H. Hill (22 - PA), and Earl D. Zeidlear (21 - PA) as well as son-in-law Clinton I. Ganter (22 - PA) and Ida's daughter, Eva G. Ganter (20 - PA). Clinton and Evba were married on March 6, 1919.

Ida married John Zeidlear circa 1898 in Reading, Berks Co., PA. (John Zeidlear was born in Aug 1851 in Pennsylvania and died circa 1915 in Reading, Berks Co., PA.)
