Moved from VA to Independence, Mo in 1842; he was a farmer and owned, with his brother, Wm. Liggan Lacy (and others), a tobacco barn at Independence. He was originally buried in the family plot on his farm, but removed here [Lee's Summit Historical Cemetery] in 1879 by his son, John Tyler Lacy. Remains were moved due to road construction. Husband of Sarah Belcher Lacy.
