Sidney Irene Lapp, 72, of Sarasota, FL, died Sept. 27, 2009 at her residence. She was born in Lancaster, and moved to Sarasota in 1983. She is survived by her sons, Tom Lapp of Lancaster; Mark Lapp of Gordonville; daughter, Debbie and her husband Tim of Lancaster; brothers, Bernie A. Walker, Jr. of Italy; Allen Walker of Nashville, TN; aunt, Theresa Zymnis of Lancaster; 3 grandchildren, Tim Morgan, Jr., Cassandra Morgan and Nathan Morgan, all of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Thomas Lapp; parents, Bernard A. Walker, Sr. & Sadie Rohlf Walker; her sisters, Sylvia Kennel and Letty Stouch.
She was employed with Palm Aire Country Club for the past 25 years.
Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home, Sarasota, FL. Services will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Palms Memorial Park.
