By 1910, Lizzie's mother has married for a 2nd time: The 1910 Federal Census for Scottsville, Albemarle Co., VA, District 12, page 17B, dated April 20, 1910 records Lizzie D. Mann (15) with her sister Jennie Mann (17) and Mabel F. Mann (10) living with her remarrid mother Lelia Bowles (38) and her husband Robert Bowles (38) and their son James E. Bowles (2). Robert and Lelia have beem amrried for 6years and Lelia has had 4 children all of whom are still living.

Lizzie married John Wesley Thurston on 19 May 1914 in Richmond, VA. (John Wesley Thurston was born on 5 Jun 1881 in Goochland Co., VA and died after 1942 in Richmond, VA.)
