(55 - VA/VA/VA) Wright with children Thomas I. Wright (26), Peter W. Wright (25), Susanna J. Wright (22), Jno C. M. Wright (21), Wm. H. Wright (16), Frances C. [son] Wright (12). A. K. is working as a Physician. Also in the household is Andy's widowed mother-in-law, Ruth McGee (83).

The 1870 Federal Census for Division 4, Washington Co., VA, Abingdon P. O., page 46A, dated Sept 29, 1870 records Andrew K. (52 - VA) and Margaret (45 - VA) Wright with children Thomas Wright (16), Preston Wright (14), Susannah Wright (13), John Wright (12), and William Wright (8). A. K. is working as a Farmer with real estate valued at $1,000 and a personal estate valued at $200. Also in the household is Andy's mother-in-law, Ruth McGee (75) who is employed as a Knitter.

The 1860 Federal Census for the Western District, Washington Co., VA, Laurel P. O., page 141, dated July 26, 1870 records Andrew (42 - VA) and Margaret (31 - VA) Wright with children Mary (11), Ruth (9), Thomas Wright (7), Peter Wright (5), Susan Wright (3), and Charles (1). Andrew is working as a Farmer with real estate valued at $2,000 and a personal estate valued at $100. On page 135 of this same census are Margaret Wright's parents, Thomas (63 - Tenn) and Ruth (63 - VA) McGee. Thomas is working as a Farmer with real estate valued at $1,100 and a personal estate valued at $200.

The 1850 Federal Census for the 67th District, Washington Co., VA, Laurel P. O., page 148B, dated Sept 11, 1870 records Margaret Wright's parents, Thomas (32 (sic) - Tenn) and Ruth (53 - VA) McGee with children Malinda (21), William (19), and James (15). Thomas is working as a Farmer with real estate valued at $1,100 and a personal estate valued at $200.

Andrew married Margaret Ann McGee circa 1848 in Viriginia. (Margaret Ann McGee was born in May 1825 in Virginia, died in 1911 in Holston District, Washington Co., VA and was buried in Wrights Chapel Cemetery, Damascus, Washington Co., VA.)
