Census records below document the family: Richmond Times Dispatch, April 2, 1903 Selidon Crostic Beach, VA, April 1: Selidon Crostic, a prominent farmer, died at his residence near here yesterday. He is survived by his wife, eight children, and one sister, Mrs. Samuel P. Wilkinson, all of whom reside near the place. Mr. Crostic was in his fifty-fifth year of age and had lived in this neighborhood all of his life, save a few years of his early life, which he spent railroading on the Mobile and Ohio Railroad. Barnett is a farmer with real estate valued at $600 and a personal estate valued at $200.
