Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Eula) Roark, Bristol Virginia; a sister, Ruth Wright, Bristol Virginia; a granddaughter, Jennifer Penley, Blountville; a grandson, Chris Roark, Bristol Virginia; two great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. He graduated from King College with a bachelor's degree in Bible and religion. He is employed at Celebration Church as a full-time youth pastor and is a member of Celebration Church
