Mary King was the wife of Moses Hare. There are a large number of records for Mary and husband Moses Hare. They lived in the same area as the two brothers of Mary, namely Charles and Henry, shown in Solomons Bible record (recorded elsewhere). These two brothers witnessed deeds for the Hares and vice versa. And like her brothers she and her husband have been located in the area that is now Gates County as well as the Rocquist Pocosin area of Bertie County. According to Solomon's Bible Mary died in 1774. Two of the children of Mary are shown in land records prior to 1759 in which they were given gifts. There were probably other children.
