Russell Almeron Marks became a noisy citizen of Sioux City, Iowa, on the 2nd of March, 1874. Tiring of the Indian Village, he immigrated to New Haven, some four years ago. His father, Constant R. Marks, a graduate of Yale '67, is a lawyer by profession, and been recently elected to an office, the technical name of which his son is unable to tell us. Russell has two cousins at Yale, and one at the University of Pennsylvania, but he informs us that the latter is not a professional athlete. His ancestors, in whose veins ran pure blood, unmixed with alcohol, extend very far back, and were very distinguished, but theri distinguishing characteristics have been forgotten by their degenerate descendents.

Russell has been married for 22 years and is employed as a Lawyer in General Practice.
