The 1900 Federal Census for Morehead Township, Greensboro City, Ward 1, Guilford Co., NC, District 52, page 125A, dated June 13, 1900 records the widow Fannie Young (June 1856 - VA/VA/VA) with her children Lillian Young (February 1888 - VA/VA/VA), India Young (June 1882 - VA/VA/VA), and William Young (April 1887 - VA/VA/VA) living with Fannie's brother, Wesley Gregg (Aug 1861 - VA/VA/VA), and his wife Cordilia Gregg (July 1871 - NC/NC/NC) and their daughters Mary Gregg (February 1898 - NC) and Nellie Gregg (July 1899 - NC) living at 516 Green Street. Wesley is a Lineman for the Telephone Company and has been married to Cordelia for 4 years. Cordelia has had 2 children.

The 1930 Federal Census for Atlanta, 7th Ward, Fulton Co., Georgia, District 101, page 132B, dated April 10, 1930 records the widow Fannie B. Young (70 - VA/VA/VA) living with her daughter Lillian Corbitt (49 - VA/VA/VA) and her husband John M. Corbitt (48 - SC/SC/SC) living at 473 Lawton Street. John is employed as a Supervisor of the Telegraph. Both John and Lillian were first married at age 21.
