The 1900 Federal Census for Martic Township, Lancaster Co., PA, District 89, page 222A records Thomas (Nov 1850 - PA/PA/PA) and Mary A. (Oct 1853 - PA/PA/PA) with son Jasper J. Bruce (April 1875). Thomas is a farmer and has been married to Mary Ann for 27 years. Mary Ann has had 4 children all of whom are still living. Note: WWI Draft Registration card for Jasper Jacob Bruce of Lancaster records his date of birth as April 12, 1875. Emma Bruce has not been found in this census.
