William is a Livestock Dealer and has been married to Susie for 27 years. They have had 3 children all of whom are still living. This is the 2nd marriage for Susie and 1st for William. Next door is Samuel S. Shirk (50 - PA/PA/PA) with his wife Emma (50 - PA/PA/PA). Samuel is a Hardware Merchant and has been married to Emma for 27 years. They have no children.

The 1920 Federal Census for Ponca Ward 4, Kay, Oklahoma, District , page , dated 1910 records William (65 - PA/France/France) and Susie [Shirk] (60 - PA/PA/PA) Fayant with son-in-law Frank C. Bell (35 - IL/IL/IL) and his wife Caroline Bell (35 - IL/France/PA) and a niece Thelma Shirk (11 - Utah/IL/PA). Thelma is the daughter of Reuben Shirk, Susie's brother. William is a Proprietor of a Storage business while Frank is a Manager of a Lumber Yard.

The 1930 Federal Census for Precinct 5, Reagan Co., Texas, District 6, page 201B, dated April 3, 1930 records the widower William Fayant (84 - Iowa/France/France) living with his son, Joe W. Fayant (38 - SD/Iowa/IL) and his wife Marie (26 - Texas/Georgia/Texas) and children Joan (3 8/12 - Oklahoma) and Louise (2 1/12 - Texas). Joe is a Guager on an Oil Tank.

Susie married William N. Fayant on 19 Dec 1882. (William N. Fayant was born circa 1851 in Pennsylvania and died after 1930 in Reagan Co., Texas.)

Susie next married Frederick Carr.
