The 1900 Federal Census for the Tunstall District, Pittsylvania Co., VA, District 94, page 324B, dated June 11, 1900 records James H. (April 1844 - VA/VA/VA) and Ada F. (April 1842 - VA/VA/VA) Hutson with their daughter, Anna H. Hutson (Feb 1889). James and Ada have been married for 22 years and have had 3 children of whom 2 are still living. [Mattie is the other child]

(52 - VA/VA/VA) Hutson with their daughter, Anna [indexed as Gunter]Hutson (1890). James and Ada have been married for 37 years and have had 3 children of whom 2 are still living. This is the 2nd marriage for James and 1st for Ada. Also in the household is "Hosue Girl" / "Servant", Emma Brumfield (13).
