The 1850 Census West Cocalico, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, page 362A/B, dated August 28, 1850 records Martin Becker (17 - PA) living with his parents John (52 - PA) and Elizabeth (49 - PA) Becker and brothers Henry Becker (19) and Jacob Becker (9 - PA). John is a farmer with real estate valued at $5,000. Also in the household are Mary Richards (9) and Eve Gelsinger (17). Near by is John's brother Samuel Becker (56 - PA) with his wife Sarah (39 - PA) and their son Ezra Becker (12 - PA). Samuel is a farmer with real estate valued at $5,000.

Going back to 1860 one can find documents that indicate Martin and Ezra Becker as cousins, not brothers: Martin (25) is the son of John (62) and Elizabeth (58) Becker and has a brother, Jacob (19). Ezra is the son of Samuel (66) and Sally (50) Becker ... of Cocalico, Lancaster Co., PA. Samuel has real estate valued at $6,800 and a personal estate at $4,905 while John has real estate valued at $11,250 and a personal estate at $1,200:

O., page 903A, dated June 11, 1860 records Martin Becker (25 - PA) living with his parents John (62 - PA) and Elizabeth (58 - PA) Becker and brother Jacob Becker (19 - PA). John is a farmer with real estate valued at $11,250 and a personal estate at $1,200. Next door is John's brother Samuel Becker (66 - PA) with his wife Sally (50 - PA) and their son Ezra Becker (22 - PA). Samuel is a farmer with real estate valued at $8,600 and a personal estate at $4,905. Thus, Martin and Ezra are cousins ... and Jacob Becker is the brother to Martin.

The 1870 Census West Cocalico, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, page 394B records a Harry (indexed as Henry) Becker (8 - PA) living with retired farmer John Becker (72 - PA) and his wife Elizabeth (68 - PA) Becker). John has real estate valued at $4,500 and a personal estate at $450. Next door (page 394A) is Martin (37 - PA) and Hannah (37 - PA) Becker with son Edwin Becker (8). Also in that household is Jefferson Usner (15) as well as Lizzie Brunner (14). Martin is a farmer with real estate valued at $8,000 and a personal estate at $2,500. Nearby (page 411A) are Ezra (33) and Carolina (28) Becker with their children and next to them is Sarah Becker (59) [Ezra's mother and Samuel's wife]. Ezra is a farmer with real estate valued at $18,000 and a personal estate at $2,600.

John married Elizabeth Eberly. (Elizabeth Eberly was born circa 1801 in Pennsylvania and died after 1870 in West Cocalico, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.)
