Henry Lawrence ¹¹²

  General Notes:

The 1820 Federal Census, Virginia, Henry Co. page 33 records Henry Lawrence over 45 years of age. Living in the household are two males (1 is 16-26 and another 26-45) and a female (16-26). This implies that his wife, Sally, has died by this date in 1820. There is a William Larrance on the same page of the census who is in the same age bracket ... a possible brother to this Henry. (the index lists Henry Larrance - see notes on son Henry Lawrence)

The 1830 Federal Census, Virginia, Henry Co., page 198 records James (40-50), Jesse (30-40)), and Henry (70-80) Larrence. In the household with Henry is a male (30-40) with a female (30-40) and children (1 male: 0-5, 2 males: 5-10, 2 females 0-5, 3 females: 5-10). This is probably Henry's son, Henry, with wife, Gilley, and their children.

Henry married Sarah "Sally" Fuller, daughter of Arthur Fuller and Sarah. (Sarah "Sally" Fuller was born about 1754 in Granville Co., NC and died before 1820 in Henry Co., VA..)
