The 1910 Federal Census for Lancaster Township, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, District 98, page 275B records Harry (36) and Emma (33) Hagen with children Edna (13), Ralph (10), and G. Ross (11/12) living in Lancaster, Pa. Also in the household is Harry's father, the widower Davis Hagen (60). Harry has been married 13 years and is a Coachman for a private family. Emma has has 3 children all of whom are still living.

The WWI Draft Registration Card for Harry Clayton Hagen taken in Lancaster, PA on Sept 12, 1918 records his date of birth as May 11, 1873, his residence as 440 East Strawberry Street, and his wife as Emma Hagen and he is working at a Bakery, what looks to be Gunzenhauser Bakery at Prince & Clay Streets. His physical description is short with medium build with gray eyes and brown hair. His signature is Harry Clatyon Hagen, apparently a bit dyslexic.

(45) Hagen (indexed as Hazen at ancestry.com) with son Harry C. Jr. (16) renting at 804 North Queen Street. Harry is a Stock Clerk at a Bakery. Age at first marriage is reported as 22 for Harry and 23 for Anne which indicates that this is not the first marriage for Anne nor for Harry.
