Both William and Alba are Machinists with an Engine Manufacturer while Claude has no employment.

The 1930 Federal Census for Philadelphia, Ward 34, Pennsylvania, District 459, page 271B, dated April 12, 1930 records William G. (67 - PA/PA/PA) and Josephine (60 - PA/Ireland/Ireland) Johnson with daughter Josephine Helms (25 - PA), Gertrude Johnson (25 - PA), and grandson Charles Helms (1 2/12) living at 161 North 61st Street. William is a Machinist at a Repair Machine Shop and Gertrude is working as a Printer for a Printing Shop. Gertrude is a Printer andt a Print Shop while her sister has no employment.
