[Lawrence] Grant (20) with her husband William Grant (30) and daughter Sallie Grant (1). They are living next door to John R. (40) and Lucy (38) Lawrence and family and one page over in the census record from her parents, Darling and and Susan Lawrence. John and Darling are brothers.
The 1900 Federal Census for the Leatherwood District, Henry Co., Virginia, District 52, page 89A records the widow Susan Lawrence (Oct 1835) with grand daughter Sally [Grant, daughter of William and Gilly] Garrett (May 1879), great grand daughter Missie J. Garrett (Feb 1900) and grandson in law Samuel E. Garrett (Aug 1872).
Next door is William (Sept 1852) and Gilly A. (June 1859) [Lawrence] Grant with children John (June 1881), Mary A. (Feb 1885), Cora A. (Oct 1888), Martha E. (Nov 1891), James A. (Feb 1893), Polly C. (Feb 1895), and George D. (Aug 1898). William and Gilly have been married for 22 years and have had 10 children of whom 8 are still living.
The 1910 Federal Census for the Leatherwood District, Henry Co., Virginia, District 68, page 85B records William R. (56) and Gilly A. (50) [Lawrence] Grant with children James A. (17), Gillie C. (15), and George D. (11). William and Gilly have been married for 32 years and have had 10 children of whom 6 are still living.
