Look for Martin Sheaffer born 07 December 1813, died 3 March 1887, Stephenson Co. Illinois; his father and mother were, Christian Sheaffer and Elizabeth ? who, lived Medow Vlley Lancaster Co. Penn. Married Leah Shirk, about 1838, children of Martin Sheaffer and Leah Shirk are Jacob, Martin II, (married, Anna Boyer (Jordan) adopted by John Boyer), Susana, Elizabeth, Matilda, John S. (married Celian Eby, in Illinois), Isabella (married George S. Myers,) Anna (married John Wesley Starr, Illinois), Samuel (married Ella May Myers), Leah (married David H. Forney).
Also would like to know anything about Christian Sheaffer and his wife Elizabeth, and their other children: Martin Sheaffer and his wife Anna Boyer, came to Dallas Co. Iowa, about 1868. Were Farmers, belonged to The Church of the Brethren.
Any information on this family will be appriceated, and will traid information, on the Sheaffer family that I have.
