The 1910 Federal Census for Callands, Pitttyslvania Co., VA, District 89, page 86A taken May 11, 1910 records Joseph D. Reynolds (69) with his wife Mary (56) with children Gilmer J. (40), Jonah (27), and Fannie (20). Joseph and Mary have been married for 41 years and have had 8 children of which 7 are still living. All the children are single.
The 1920 Federal Census for Climax, Pitttyslvania Co., VA, District 140, page 81A taken February 4, 1920 records the widower Joe D. Reynolds (78) with his daughter Fannie (29). Next door is his son Jonoha (sic) Reynolds (38). They are both listed as farmers.
