Obituary for Walter Coleman, 1948 - 2008
Walter R. Coleman, 59, of Winchester, formerly of Pike County, died Monday, May 12, 2008.
He was born, July 18, 1948, a son of the late George W. and Carrie Gross Coleman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Coleman and George E. Coleman; and one sister, Elmo R. Clark.
He is survived by six brothers, Paul Coleman of Salem, Va., Roger Coleman of Elkhorn City, Gary Coleman of Paintsville, Bernie Coleman and Alden A. Coleman, both of San Diego, and Buford Coleman of Pikeville; and two sisters, Flois Bloomfield of Yucca, Calif., and Inos Copley of Louisville.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 14, [2008] at Pikeville Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial followed in the Coleman Family Cemetery, at Lower Pompey.
Arrangements were under the direction of Pikeville Funeral Home.
