Michael King first appeared in the records of Bertie County as witness to a deed along with Charles King in 1746. He married Mary Hobson, daughter of Francis and Elizabeth Hobson of Bertie County. He initially lived on Rocquist adjoining his brothers, but later accompanied his wife's parents to Beaufort County where he purchased land in 1752. He remained there until 1757 when he sold the land and returned to Bertie County, again buying land on Rocquist. By 1780 he had disposed of this land and was living in Windsor, County seat of Bertie County. In 1792 he bought land in adjoining Martin County where he lived the remainder of his life. He died in 1795 and left a will.

WILLIAM C. KING - Moved to Edgecombe County where he died in 1818.
JOHN H. KING - Married Elizabeth Parker 28 March 1787 in Bertie County. Worked as a surveyor. Moved to Robertson County Tennessee in 1823 and then to Dallas County, Alabama where he died in 1828 with Benajah King administering his estate.
DAVID KING - Married Sally Ruffin 18 May 1793 and died in 1812 in Martin County.
