Hi there! I believe Jasper and Eli are related also. Robert's father was J. James Daughtrey (1765 to 1833) per his original will. J. James Daughtrey was the son of Robert Daughtrey (1745 - 1795) who was married to Charity ?. There were four sons J. James, John, Elias (?Eli) and Thomas. This Elias was born around 1768. This is also from an original will. Robert's father was John Daughtrey, born around 1720 and died around 1771. This is also from an original will. Only the oldest male child received the birthright of the land from the father. Therefore, J. James received the property and handed it down to his son Robert (grandson of Robert and great grandson of John). The other 3 brothers may have lived on land but not owned it or have bought land nearby as families usually stayed together. Does any of this sound familiar to you? Best wishes, Sally
