The Danville Register reports on Dec. 20, 1966 the obituary for Mrs. Myrtle "Jimmie" Moseley Young, age 46. She was born August 7, 1920 in Henrico Co., VA to Mrs. Zelvia Moseley Baker of Danville and the late Henry E. Moseley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie B. Young Sr. who died May 10, 1965. She is survived by her mother, 2 sons, Leslie B. Young Jr and Derek K. Young; 3 sisters, Mrs. Thelma Clifton, Mrs. Mildred Snead, and Mrs. Louise Ireson, all of Danville. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.

Myrtle married Leslie Bennett Young Sr., son of William Lee Young Sr. and Grace DeMott. (Leslie Bennett Young Sr. was born about 1914 in Chatham, VA, died on 10 May 1965 in Danville City, (Pittsylvania Co.), Virginia and was buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Danville, VA.)
