The Danville Register reports on July 6, 1969 the marriage between Leslie Bennett Young Jr and Miss Karla Ann Crowell both of Danville. Leslie is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Bennett Young.
The Danville Register and Bee reports on June 3, 1971 that Leslie Bennett Young Jr. got a degree in Economics from V. P. I.
The Danville Register and Bee reports on Nov. 2, 1928 that "Leslie Young, 15 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Young, Virginia Avenue, who was injured on Halloween Night remained unchanged today, the boy alternating between periods of lucidity and coma ... he sustained a fracture of the skull but [the attending Doctors] have detected no added grave symptoms and believe that with proper care he will be fully restored." The article goes on to describe that Leslie was with a group of boys pulling a Halloween prank. A Nov 1, 1928 article described "MISSING YOUNG BOY STAGGERS INTO HOUSE IN A DAZED CONDITION".
Leslie married Myrtle "Jimmie" Moseley. (Myrtle "Jimmie" Moseley was born on 7 Aug 1920 in Henrico Co, VA, died on 19 Dec 1966 in Danville City, (Pittsylvania Co.), Virginia and was buried on 21 Dec 1966 in Mountain View Cemetery, Danville, VA.)
