The 1850 census records what appears to be Elisha Wright's parents:
The 1850 Federal Census for District 11, Carroll Co., VA, page 326A, dated July 25, 1850 records Zacheriah Wright (88 - Maryland) with his wife Polly Wright (83 - VA). Also in the household are Polly Wright (45), Samuel Bond (35), and Zacheriah Wright (35).
