The record for Milton is somewhat unclear, however, it appears that Milton married an Elizabeth and moved (before or after he married is unknown) to North Lebanon Township in Lebanon Co., PA. Elizabeth moves on (death or divorce is unknown) and Milton marries the previously married (widow or divorcee is unknown) Gertrude Dissinger and moves to the Danville Borrough, Montour Co., PA. By 1920 he and Gertrude are living in Riverside Borrough, Northumberland Co., PA. Throughout his travels, Milton is employed as a Puddler. He apparently never has children of his own but does have step children with Gertrude and has a grandson, Glen Clark, living with him in 1920. The 1930 census records Milton, Gertrude, and Glenn continuing to live in Riverside Borrough, Northumberland Co., PA.

The 1900 Federal Census for South Londonderry Township in Lebanon Co., PA, District 143 records William (July 1865 - PA) and Gertrude (Jan 1867 - Germany) Dissinger with children Ralph (Oct 1887) and Ruth (March 1892). William and Gertrude have been married 13 years and have 2 children. Gertrude immigrated in 1868.

The 1910 Federal Census for Danville Borrough in Montour Co., PA, District 46 records Milton E. (43 - PA) and Gertrude (43 - Germany) Clark with step daughter Ruth Dissinger (18). Gertrude is reporting her immigration year as 1867.

The 1920 Federal Census for Riverside Borrough in Northumberland Co., PA, District 77 records Milton (52 - PA) and Gertrude (53 - PA) Clark with grandson Glen R. Clark (7). The parents of Glen are unknown. The 1910 census indicates Milton had no children of his own, but perhaps Milton and Elizabeth had a son ca 1912 before she died.
