General Notes: Fred Klenner gained his medical residency at the North Carolina Tuberculosis Sanitarium in Winston-Salem, N.C. Although an eccentric and often called a "quack", Dr. Klenner gained fame as a reseacher in Vitamin C and was mentioned in the works of Dr. Linus Pauling. Frederick married Annie Hill Sharp, daughter of James Merritt Sharp and Annie Britt Blackwell, on 24 Nov 1937 in Reidsville, Rockingham Co, N.C. (Annie Hill Sharp was born on 19 Feb 1914 in Madison, Rockingham Co, NC, died on 28 Dec 2003 in Reidsville, Rockingham Co., North Carolina and was buried in Greenview Cemetery, Reidsville, Rockingham Co., N.C..) |
