Virginia Mann Burton, 86, widow of J. Preston Burton Sr., passed away September 22, 2004. She is survived by two sons, J. Preston Burton Jr. and wife, Belinda, and Hugh F. Burton; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2004, at Sunset Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Pocahontas State Park.
