They have had 3 children of whom 2 are still living.

The 1910 Federal Census for Laurel Fork, Carroll Co., VA, District 4, page 58A, dated May 6, 1910 records the widower Abram W. Hylton (38) with children Addie V. (14), Charlie C. (12), Willie G. (12), Dennis E. (9), Avis H. (6), and Clarence (3). Also in the household is Abram's sister, Lula L. Wright (40), as well as his widowed father, James M. Hylton (72). In addition there is a Posey C. Martin (25), listed as a nephew, and an Anna M. Martin (18), listed as niece. Anna is Lulu's daughter and has been married for 2 years. She indicates that she has had 1 child and that child is still living; however, no child is listed here. Lula indicates that she is married and has been for 19 years. SHe reports having had 3 children and 1 is still living.

The 1940 Federal Census for the Town of Galax, Old Town Township, Grayson Co., VA, District 39-8, page 144A, dated April 12, 1940 records the widow Lula Wright (60) living with her married grand daughter and her family: Bickley (34 - VA) and Euna Lee (26) Hartsock and their daughter Dianna Lee Hartsock (1/12). Bickley is a Barber in a Public Shop and owns his home valued at $3,800. Euna Lee is employed as a Stenographer at the Silk Mill.
