The 1880 Federal Census for Lancaster City, Ward 7, Pennsylvania, Dist 157, page 184A records Amelia Glentz (sic) (20 - PA) living with her widowed mother Anna (45 - Germany/Germany/Germany) and siblings Philip (16 - PA), and Emma Glentz (10 - PA). Amelia is listed as single.

The 1900 Federal Census for Lancaster City, Ward 6, Pennsylvania, ED#55, page 73B, dated June 11, 1900 records Amelia's brother, Phillip Glinz (March 1864 - PA/Germany/Germany), with his wife Minnie (Oct 1867 - PA/PA/Germany) living at 315 North Cherry Street. Phillip is a teamster. Also in the household are step sons Harry Kimwarly (June 1886 - PA), Frank Kimwarly (March 1889 - PA), George Kimwarly (March 1891 - PA), and mother-in-law Christiana Kimwarly (Sept 1833 - Germany/Germany/Germany). Phillip and Minnie have been married for 1 year. Christiana immigrated in 1865.

The type of work for Phillip is illegible. Also in the household are step sons Frank Keemmery (21 - PA) and George Keemmery (19 - PA), and mother-in-law Susan Keemmery (76 - Germany/Germany/Germany). Phillip and Minnie have been married for 10 years and have had no children. Susan immigrated in 1863.
