MRS. W. A. GARRETT DIES
Mr. Editor, A telegram from my brother J. H. Trent of Ridgeway, Va., brought me the said intelligence of the death of my sister, Mrs. W. A. Garrett, at that place this morning. She was a faithful wife and sister, a consistent member of the Baptist church and I feel that she has gone to her reward among those of whom it is said "these are they which came of of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the lamb." May the lord help us that we also may be found ready when his messenger shall come and invite us to the skies. P. G. Trent, Sr., Roanoke, Ala., May 2, 1904.
