  General Notes:

The 1880 United States Federal Census for Virginia, Carroll Co., Pine Creek, District 19, page 58B records Nancy Isabel Mabry (10) living with her parents Greenberry (35) and Louisa (32) Mabry and siblings.

Nancy married Abram Walker Hylton, son of James Madison Hylton and Mahala Agnes Burnett, on 17 May 1890 in Carroll Co., VA. (Abram Walker Hylton was born on 1 Mar 1871 in Christ Church, Middlesex Co., VA, died on 11 Dec 1952 in Pulaski Co., VA. and was buried on 13 Dec 1952 in Dublin Cemetery, Dublin, Pulaski Co., VA.) The cause of his death was Cerebral Vascular Hemorrhage.

The Grayson/Carroll marriages are from 1793-1853, so they would not be listed in the book.
In Ora Bell McColman's book on Mayberry/Mabry, it gives Nancy Isabell's information. Born 3-4-1869 in Carroll, died 1-21-1925, Flat Top, WV. It states she married in Carroll to Abe Hylton, but does not give a date. Also states, her marriage to Abe lasted a short time, perhaps annulled. She went to WV to visit Orleana [her sister] and met Isaiah Lilly from Flat Top, whom she married, (again no date.) They lived Flat Top and had a farm there. Three children listed.
There are some later death records in Carroll. They were found in the basement of the old courthouse having been boxed away for many years.
