James is a teamster and has a personal estate valued at $450.

The 1880 Federal Census for Upper Township, Lawrence Co., Ohio, District 99, page 364B taken June 14, 1880 records Pleasant (25 - Ohio/PA/Ohio) and Helen (22 - Ohio/KY/KY) Ackinson (sic) with children Charles (3) and Flora (1). Pleasant is a teamster.

Pleasant married Helen Smith circa 1874 in Lawrence Co., Ohio. (Helen Smith was born circa 1858 in Kentucky and died after 1930 in Coal Grove, Lawrence Co., Ohio.)
