Ralph is a farmer with real estate valued at $7,000 and a personal estate valued at $5,000 including 4 slaves.

George married Eliza Adkins, daughter of Mastin Adkins and Mary A. Gibson, on 7 Apr 1867 in the home of the bride's father in Pittsylvania Co, VA. (Eliza Adkins was born circa 1847 in Museville, Pittsylvania Co., VA. and died circa 1905 in Pittsylvania Co, VA.)
