Born in Piqua, July 31, 1871, she was the daughter of James and Mary Furlong Dwyer. She was first married to John O'Brien. Her second husband was Pat McKinney. Both preceded her in death. Mrs. McKinney had lived in Cincinnati two years. She was a member of St. Mary Church in Piqua and its Ladies Society. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Florence Kussman of Dayton; Harry O'Brien of Washington, D.C. and James (Pete) O'Brien, with whom she made her home in Cincinnati. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Sarah Schneider of Piqua, 14 grandchildren, and 34 great grandchildren. Requiem High Mass will be intoned Thursday at 11:15 a.m. in St. Mary Church with burial in Forrest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Melcher Funeral Home from 4 until 9 p.m. Wednesday. Women of St. Mary Church will meet for Rosary at 7 p.m. Wednesday. (Obituary from the Piqua Daily Call \endash 5/14/1963)

Note \endash the obit has Anastasia's second husband's name as McKinney, but it is really McKenney. Even her son wrote it as 'McKinney' when he wrote a story of his life in 1968. The tombstones, Patrick's death notice, information about Patrick's son, Robert (who died in WW I) has the spelling otherwise (McKenney). Such discrepancies make it hard to connect the dots without a few clues.
