Information on John Obrien and his family was sent to this researcher on February 15, 2010 by Robert Byrd, MD, MPH UC Davis Medical Center Department of Pediatrics Section of General Pediatrics 2516 Stockton Blvd., Ticon II, Suite 337 Sacramento, CA 95817 Dear Bo (Lindsey Bolling Hagen?), Thanks, I had found your website and unfortunately had already found the census info re: Henry and his family. I am stymied as to what happened to John O'Brien's siblings. I know about John and Anastasia as they are my great grandparents. John died while my grandfather was still young and Anastasia remarried. Attached are tombstone photos, 1900 census with John's family (2 years before his death). Below is Anastasia's obit. (So, how are you related to the O'Briens?) I can't find a similar obit for John, but he died March 10, 1902 in Piqua, OH, USA, his father Henry died one year earlier - September 20, 1901 in Ironton, OH, USA. Henry was born in Ireland in 1821, but I do not have a date on that. So, armed with this information, perhaps you will find out more about Henry and his children (other than John) and share what you learn with me.
John married Anastasia Dwyer. (Anastasia Dwyer was born on 31 Jul 1871 in Piqua, Miami Co., Ohio, died on 10 May 1963 in Cincinnati, Ohio and was buried on 16 May 1963 in Forrest Hill Cemetery, Piqua, Miami Co., Ohio.)
