Lester is mentioned in the July 20, 2010 obituary of his sister ... see general notes on Catherine B. Hagen. However, other records indicate that he was Catherine's nephew, grandson of Catherine Hagen's mother's mother, Bertha S. Eager. Lester is not listed in the h ousehold of Harry Hagen in the Census records from 1920 & 1930.
The 1940 Federal Census for Eden Township, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, District 36-71, page 1246B, dated April 20, 1940 records Lester (25) and Thelma (19) Eager renting a place at 523 E. Fulton Street.

Thelma was born February 20, 1921 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of George H. and Bertha Patton Bryson, both deceased.
Thelma was the wife of Lester G. Eager, who died in 1985. She was the mother of two sons, Les Jr. of Mesa, Philip of Phoenix, and one daughter, Jane Hofbauer of Phoenix. She was the devoted grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of four. She is survived by two sisters, Florence Yoder and Bertha Gerlitzki of Lancaster, and two brothers Joseph Bryson of Lancaster and Charles Bryson of Lititz.
Visitaiton was Friday, November 22, 2002, A.L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 West Bethany Home Road. Funeral services, Saturday, November 23, 2002, at the Restoration Church, 5020 North 23rd Avenue with burial at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 West Van Buren.
