This is most likely "our" Grant Coleman even thought the 1900 census records a date of birth as March 1880.
The 1940 Federal Census for Pike Co., KY, District 98-19A, page 374B, dated April 24, 1940 records Grant (60) and Polly (51) Coleman with children Dave (28) and Eveline (16) and also grand children Clifton A. B. Maddin (18) and Lois Coleman (10) farming along Lower Pompey Road. [Clifton is the son of Grant's daughter, Catherine Coleman, who died Oct 9, 1938 ... she was married to William Madden]
