Foster is employed as a Railroad Engineer and has been married for 7 years. Foster and Irene have had 2 children 1 of whom is still living. Annie is listed as married for 30 years and has had 2 children both of whom are still living.

The 1920 Federal Census for Hagerstown, Ward 4, Washington Co., Maryland, District 160 records Foster B. (41) and Irene (38) Lease and their son Foster B. Lease Jr. (14). Also in the household is Irene's widowed mother, Anna Holmes (56). Foster is an Engineer with the Railroad.

The 1930 Federal Census for Harisburg, Daupohin Co., PA, District 36 records the widower Foster B. Lease (52) with his son George F. Lease (20) and daughter [in-law] Lillian M. Lease (19) and their daughter, Dorothy M. Lease (1 11/12) living at 811 North 6th Street. Foster in an Engineer with the railroad. George and Lillian have been amrried for 2 years.

The 1940 Federal Census for Harisburg, Daupohin Co., PA, District 22-42 records the widower Foster B. Lease (61) living at 811 North 6th Street. Also in the household are 3 lodgers and a housekeeper Marie Miller (41).

Mrs. Irene Lease, 4, 811 North Sixth street, Harrisburg, died this morning at 2.30 o'clock at the Harrisburg Hospital. She was before her marriage Miss Irene Holmes of Carlisle. Surviving is her husband, Foster B. Lease, of his city; her mother, Mrs. Annie Holmes, 811 North Sixth street, and one granddaughter, Dorothy Lease. She was a member of the Evangelical Church of Lemoyne. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home. Burial will be in the Westminster mausoleum, Carlisle. The body may be viewed Thursday evening between the hours of 7 and 9.
