The 1860 Federal Census for Wayne Co.,Virginia [West Virginia], Wayne Court House P. O., page 866, dated July 7, 1860 records Goodwin Wilson (22 - VA) with his wife Amanda Wilson (17 - VA) and son William Wilson (1 - VA). Goodwin is a Farmer with real estate of no value and a personal estate valued at $65.

The 1870 Federal Census for Rome, Lawrence Co., Ohio, page 480A, dated July 19, 1870 records Gooden Wilson (32 - VA) with his wife Victoria (23 - OH) and children John (9 - OH) and Adie (2 - OH). Gooden is a farm hand.

The 1880 Federal Census for Rome, Lawrence Co., Ohio, District 96, page 287A, dated June 7, 1880 records Victoria Wilson (33 - OH/NC/NC) living in the home of the widow Sallie Henderson (72 - NC/NC/NC) [Sarah Henderson is Victoria's mother]. Also in the household is Sallie's grandson, Jasper Pinkerman (11) - OH). Interesting that Victoria reports being single (her husband died in Feb) and under the column for Disability she reports "Disp. Woulb." [not clear]
Note: Jasper Newton Pinkerman was born in Lawrence CO., Ohio on Oct 14, 1868 to Joe Pinkerman and Harriet Henderson (Victoria's sister). He married Zella Zimmerman, was a teacher, and died Oct 18, 1939 in Ashland, Ashland Co., Ohio.
