The 1920 Federal Census for Lancaster City, PA, Ward 9, District 83, page 257A, dated January 6, 1920 records Myrtle G. (26 - PA/PA/PA) and William (37 - PA/PA/PA) Rohrer with son Everett V. Rohrer (7) living on 440 Frederick Street. William is a machinist in a machine shop.

The 1940 Federal Census for Lancaster City, PA, District 36-57, page 989A, dated April 18, 1940 records a divorced Marion M. Grube (47 - PA) with a number of children with different surnames: Helen J. Grube (2), Emma P. Wickersham (21), Warren H. Rhoker (sic) (19), Lindy J. Hagen [son] (12), and Anna M. Hagen (9) living at 319 Rockland. Marion, Emma, and Warren have completed 6 years of schooling and are not employed. Note: Emma P. Wickersham is most likely Emma P. Rohrer as recorded in the 1930 census. The 1940 census has an M with a line through it in the "marital status" column next to Emma P. Wickersham.

The obituary for Harry Collins Hagen Jr. that gives the surname as Govka; however, there is some evidence it should be Grube (see general notes and 1940 census facts). With that in mind this researcher looked for a Myrtle Marion Grube and found a likely candidate, but nothing definitive: The 1900 Federal Census for Fair Hill, Cecil Co., Maryland, District 18, page 124A, dated June 1, 1900 records Myrtle M. Grube (Aug 1893 - PA/PA/PA) living with her parents David (Sept 1843 - PA/PA/PA) and Anna (June 1865 - PA/PA/PA) and siblings Catherine L. Grube (Nov 1896) and David W. Grube (Nov 1898). David is employed as a Beaterman at a Paper Mill and has been married to Anna for 8 years. They have had 3 children. Additional research points to this family surname as possibly Griebe ...
