In an email from Barb R. Sterling, grand daughter of Ester Keil Forry on Febraury 21, 2008:
I knew Gilbert Romberger,(Gil) knew his first wife. She was Catholic and they had five kids I think.I don't think she ever gave Gil a divorce. Lived in New Cumberland I think. His mother, Aunt Dill, worked at a place called Three Gables at a crossroads I remember and she baked all their pies for years. His one daughter Sandy (she had rheumatic fever as a kid) and I kept in touch up until one Christmas she stopped sending cards and notes and when I did try to get reacquainted she never returned my letter so I dropped it. She had been married to a Doctor but she was/is living in Camp Hill I think alone. Her mother was a trip from what I remember. Her brothers 2 of them live in Hagerstown. I use to talk to Donny but lost track there as well. Gil had moved to Hag. lived with a lady and did have his Mother with him until he died and then the "lady" put Aunt Dill in a home. She passed away down at Readers Nursing Home in Boonsboro, MD. When she passed I was told that Sandy, her granddaughter took care of everything. She never notified any of us about her Grandmothers passing. Nothing in paper, notta....Odd bunch. We didn't find out till some time later.
